Forest locations

Matariki’s forests are grown on land which is subject to a variety of land tenures including Freehold, Crown Forest Licences, Joint ventures, Leasehold and Forestry Rights. As such there a number of public access routes, public access easements and formed and unformed legal roads in the estate. The locations of these roads can be found on the Herenga ā Nuku Aotearoa, the Outdoor Access Commission website.
